Salary Range: $4,500 to $9,000 per month

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours

About the Role

A global software company that specialises in collections and recovery solutions for the banking industry is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Junior Project Manager. You'll represent the company on-site at a banking client and help deliver application implementation, integration and data migration projects. You'll keep project activities on track, coordinate teams across multiple locations, and work closely with the bank's stakeholders so every project is delivered on time and to a high standard. This role suits a project coordinator or project manager with a technical background who wants hands-on exposure to enterprise projects in banking.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities, deliverables, milestones and timelines.
  2. Act as the main point of contact between the banking client's stakeholders and distributed delivery teams.
  3. Coordinate with business, technical, infrastructure and vendor teams across multiple locations.
  4. Track project progress, dependencies, action items and key deliverables.
  5. Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalate critical matters, and drive plans to resolve them before they affect timelines.
  6. Support system implementation, integration, testing, deployment and migration activities.
  7. Run project meetings, prepare status reports, maintain project documentation and follow project governance standards.
  8. Make sure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management or project coordination roles
  • Experience delivering technical projects involving Java, Spring Boot, SQL, ETL, data migration or open-source technologies
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and enterprise deployments
  • Familiar with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps or MS Project
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing or coordinating data migration projects is a strong advantage
  • Exposure to collections management systems is an advantage
  • PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Scrum or an equivalent certification is a plus
