About the role

A leading international life insurer is building its High Net Worth (HNW) insurance business across Asia and international markets. This new role will shape where the business goes next. You'll turn market, client and competitor insight into recommendations that directly influence product strategy and investment decisions.

This is not a market-reporting role. Success is measured by whether your insights change decisions.

What you'll do

• Identify emerging HNW client and distributor needs, underserved segments and product gaps.
• Analyse leading HNW propositions across Asia and globally, beyond headline features, including guarantees, liquidity, illustrated values, premium financing compatibility and product economics.
• Scan for innovation across insurers, private banks, wealth platforms, reinsurers and fintech.
• Set up structured feedback loops with advisors, brokers and private banks.
• Assess new opportunities and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.

What you'll bring

• Significant experience in insurance strategy, product or proposition strategy, management consulting, private banking, wealth research, reinsurance, or actuarial and product roles.
• A strong understanding of HNW insurance products, such as universal life (UL) and indexed universal life (IUL), and how they are distributed.
• Evidence that your analysis has influenced commercial, product or investment decisions.
• Strong analytical and strategic judgement, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems.
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
• CFA, actuarial or MBA qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
