Project Engineer/ Project Manager (IT)

Roles& Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely execution and alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and address project requirements.
• Attend site meetings as required, professionally representing the company and providing technical insights.
• Ensure timely submission of personal timesheets, expense reports, project tracker updates, and other required documentation on a weekly basis.
• Review system designs before installation, identifying and addressing technical, functional, or compatibility issues while ensuring compliance with client standards.
• Supervise and manage installation teams, including internal technicians and local service partners, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager, supporting efficient resource planning and project execution.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working in ELV Systems (security and communication systems) installations, servicing, or design will be advantageous.
• Practical aptitude and ability to work independently, prioritize work schedule and make own decisions.
• Logical worker, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and ability to prioritize well.
• IT literacy, preferably in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of IP technology and basic understanding of networking (e.g. Cisco, TCP/IP, routing, switching)
