Sales & Service Engineer / Manager (Gas Lead Detection) - VTTO

Our client is a leading provider of advanced inspection and measurement solutions, serving critical industries including oil & gas, aerospace, marine, power generation and manufacturing. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Sales & Service Engineer / Manager to be part of their team. They are located in the North - easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support, servicing and maintenance for advanced inspection, measurement and testing equipment.
• Perform equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repair and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
• Conduct field service activities including installation, commissioning, calibration and functional checks where required.
• Support customers in the application and operation of technical equipment, providing practical solutions to resolve equipment-related issues.
• Liaise with internal technical teams, manufacturers and customers to coordinate service activities and resolve technical matters.
• Prepare service reports, document troubleshooting findings and follow up on outstanding technical issues.
• Maintain strong customer engagement and identify opportunities to support recurring service and equipment requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support or engineering service.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining industrial, inspection, measurement or other advanced technical equipment.
• Experience supporting customers across industries such as oil & gas, aerospace, marine, manufacturing, power generation or infrastructure is advantageous.
