Security Monitoring Officer (Bank Cybersecurity)

Salary: $4,500 – $5,000 per month

About the role

Cyber Security Engineer (Security Monitoring) role supporting continuous 24x7x365 security monitoring and incident response in a shift-based operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain vigilant, continuous monitoring of security information, application health, and infrastructure alerts to detect potential threats or anomalies early
• Participate in 24x7 shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays, to ensure continuous security monitoring and operational coverage
• Execute standard operating procedure (SOP)-based remediation and containment procedures to neutralize threats efficiently
• Monitor automated security batch processing, log pipelines, and resolve common pipeline or monitoring failures
• Perform routine security posture and production health checks to ensure system integrity
• Support secure production changes, security tooling deployments, and release verifications
• Perform shift handover activities and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, investigations, and operational tasks

About you

• 1-3 years working in security operations or cybersecurity support environment
• Familiar with security products and network devices
• Strong discipline in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate incident documentation
• Excellent communication skills for effective escalation, handovers, and coordination with incident response and engineering teams
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts to support a 24x7x365 continuous operational model
