Senior Accounts Executive (Fixed Assets | Accounting | ERP)

- Working day: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 8am to 5.10pm
Responsibilities
FIXED ASSETS
- Manage and oversee the monthly sub-ledger closing of fixed assets, including coordination with the Shared Service Centre on asset capitalisation, disposal, write-offs, transfer, depreciation of assets and other accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly audit schedules
- Review and reconcile Fixed Asset register and movement reports to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies
- Process capital expenditure requisitions and asset disposal documentation, monitor spending against approved budgets, and ensure proper record retention and governance
- Ensure completeness and timeliness of fixed asset tagging
- Support the annual fixed asset budgeting exercise by preparing budget templates, reviewing budget submission, computing depreciation forecast and consolidating budget data
- Lead and coordinate in the annual stock take exercise of rental assets, including reconciliation and investigation of variances
REPORTING
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly management reports, quarterly intercompany reporting packages and other ad-hoc reports required by management
- Prepare quarterly reports for submission to Caterpillar, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance to reporting requirements and timeline
- Liaise with auditors on fixed assets and intercompany transactions, and address audit queries promptly
- Participate in process enhancement initiatives, system improvement and transition to new ERP system
- Support ad-hoc assignments & projects as required from management
Requirements
- Possess minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (preferably with knowledge of fixed asset accounting and strong analytical skills)
- Prior experience in management reporting in medium/large organization is preferred
- Experience in ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics (would be advantageous)
