Senior Cloud Engineer (Google Cloud Platform) | Yearly Renewable Contract

Salary: $11,000 – $12,000 per month

Job Summary

The Infrastructure Lead (Google Cloud Platform) is responsible for leading and implementing cloud architecture solutions with a focus on design, deployment, automation, and security on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The role drives continuous improvement across complex environments involving Digital Transformation (DT), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), application delivery, and stakeholder engagement at the Director level.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Leadership & Service Delivery

• Lead cloud architecture implementation on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Possess a minimum of 8 years of hands-on GCP experience in large enterprise-scale projects.
• Collaborate with internal application stakeholders, senior management, project leadership, and delivery teams.
• Set priorities and ensure alignment of operations and maintenance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain accountability for end-to-end service delivery.
• Act as the focal point for client escalations related to issues and incidents.
• Ensure KPI reports on service delivery progress are delivered.
• Identify, develop, implement, and document process improvements to enhance customer service delivery.
• Review and prepare:

  • Project status reports

  • Meeting minutes
  • Action logs for PMC reviews

Business Development

• Proactively identify opportunities for service expansion and improvement.
• Work with Account Managers to develop identified opportunities.
• Cultivate industry partnerships.
• Manage developer communities.

Team Management

• Provide strong leadership to project and application teams.
• Ensure key deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Drive team collaboration and integration.
• Demonstrate a proactive and positive approach to work.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing large-scale enterprise projects, preferably within an SI environment.
• Experience across the software development and maintenance lifecycle.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with:

  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

  • Google Cloud KCC
  • Cloud Build
  • CI/CD technologies
  • Google Cloud Deployment Manager
  • Pulumi
  • Terraform

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with:

  • Python
  • Shell Scripting

• Exposure to:

  • AI Technologies
  • Agentic Workflows
  • AI Solutioning
  • LLM Optimisation

• Knowledge of:

  • Adobe Analytics
  • Google Analytics

• Exposure to:

  • AWS
  • Microsoft Azure
