Service Engineer (Marine)

Location: Tuas

Working days: 5 days

Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service support for marine engines, pumps, and onboard equipment.
• Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Attend vessels for field service, emergency breakdowns, commissioning, and sea trials.
• Conduct functional testing and verify equipment and engine performance.
• Prepare service reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Advise customers on maintenance, repairs, equipment condition, and performance improvements.
• Identify spare parts and recommend solutions based on inspection findings.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement root-cause and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and service teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and retrofit projects.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Provide local and overseas technical support, including on-call emergency services.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in marine or onboard service engineering preferred.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
• Self-motivated, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.
