Site Engineer

Job Summary

Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety policies. Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, and project stakeholders to optimize productivity and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and schedule daily construction activities to meet project timelines
• Supervise direct workers and provide clear instructions to subcontractors to ensure task completion
• Coordinate with land surveyors and subcontractors to execute accurate setting out works
• Liaise with QP(S) representatives to verify workmanship quality and ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Facilitate site inspections with QP(S) representatives to maintain quality control standards
• Organize and supervise housekeeping and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Monitor and control material usage to minimize wastage and improve worker productivity
• Report daily manpower and machinery deployment status to the Project Manager for effective resource tracking
• Ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and health policies through regular follow-ups and enforcement
• Implement logistic plans developed by the Planning Manager to streamline site operations
• Source suppliers, issue purchase orders, and prepare supplier payment applications to support procurement activities

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building project management
