Software Developer

Role and Responsibility -

• Provide implementation, application maintenance and testing support for IT application systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for systems operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements.
• Research on technology trends and develop proof of concepts.
• Work closely with team members (Developers, testers, business analysts, etc) on development of IT solutions to meet business needs;
• Review project deliverables (e.g. code, design documents, test plan & reports) to ensure the completeness for acceptance; and
• Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps.
• Agile development experience will be an added advantage.

Additionally :

• Offer support in managing, maintaining, and testing IT application systems, ensuring their efficient operation and functionality;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for systems operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements.
• Provide advisory role and guide team members on development of IT solutions to meet business and Authority’s needs;
• Maintain Project Management Office, track documentation and monitoring of progress.
• Co-ordinate and facilitate the audit reviews that can be conducted by party authorized by the Authority;
• Review project deliverables (e.g. monthly project report, log review for privileged user access, test plan, test reports, application design/ code) to ensure the completeness for acceptance; and
• Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies;
• Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, business process mapping, preparing business requirement specifications, flowcharts, logical diagrams, process improvements; and
• Experience in Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, etc. (preferred AWS preferred).
• A minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a software developer.
• Minimum certification as an Associate Reactive/Traditional Web/ODC Developer by OutSystems.
