About the role
First Tel Tech is looking for a capable and hands-on Systems & Cloud Engineer to support managed IT services and project deployments for SME customers. The engineer will be involved in troubleshooting, implementation, documentation, and improvement of customer environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for customer IT environments, including PCs, servers, Microsoft 365, networking, backup, and security solutions
- Support and deploy Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, MFA, and basic security settings
- Assist with Microsoft Intune device enrolment, policy deployment, endpoint configuration, and troubleshooting
- Support Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, GPO, patching, and basic hardening
- Assist in server migration, cloud migration, email migration, backup configuration, and endpoint security deployment projects
- Monitor and troubleshoot backup, antivirus, server, and network alerts using tools such as Acronis, Sophos, Zabbix, or similar platforms
- Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting for customers
- Prepare technical documentation, handover notes, inventory records, and service reports
- Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated issues
- Support cybersecurity improvement tasks such as MFA rollout, endpoint protection, patching, backup review, and basic audit evidence collection
About you
- Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and deployment
- Windows Server administration
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams
- Basic Azure / Entra ID knowledge
- Backup solutions such as Acronis, Synology, Veeam, or similar
- Endpoint security such as Sophos, Microsoft Defender, or similar
- 2–3 years of IT infrastructure or systems support experience
- Experience supporting SME customers or managed services environments
