Salary: $4,500 – $6,000 per month

Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in Communications to provide systems governance, operational readiness, and lifecycle management for critical wireless communications infrastructure and transmission networks. The appointed candidate will oversee system availability, drive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities, manage technical vendor deliverables, and lead stakeholder reporting and documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational readiness, preventive maintenance compliance, and high system availability across wireless communications networks and transmission infrastructure.
  • Drive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) functions, including technical documentation management, spare parts planning, and equipment obsolescence reviews.
  • Track service KPIs, conduct audit readiness reviews, and coordinate rapid technical incident resolution with stakeholders.
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and vendors on repairs, defect rectification, and technical acceptance testing.
  • Deliver clear technical documentation, incident summaries, and regular operational progress reports.

Requirements

  • Singapore Citizen (mandatory for project access and security clearance vetting).
  • Educational Background (Strict Requirement)
    • Experienced Track: Bachelor of Science in Engineering with specialization in Communications, coupled with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience; OR
    • Entry-Level Track: Bachelor of Science in Engineering with specialization in Communications, graduating with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Honours.
  • Practical working experience or technical familiarity with Wireless Communication systems is strongly preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical details and documentation clearly.

  • Prefer proficiency in spoken Mandarin to facilitate effective operational liaison with equipment vendors and technical partners.

  • Methodical analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of system governance and lifecycle maintenance.

Note: Candidates holding a relevant Diploma or Nitec / Higher Nitec in Engineering or Telecommunications with relevant practical experience are also welcome to apply.
