Technical Project Manager (Testing / Relocation / Perm)
Job description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate between customers and internal engineering teams to support successful production line setup and ramp-up.
- Lead line bring-up activities and coordinate with Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality and NPI teams.
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing technical issues, test abnormalities and quality concerns.
- Track and drive closure of cross-functional engineering and testing issues.
- Support on-site troubleshooting, customer meetings and production ramp-up activities at overseas locations.
- Monitor testing results, project progress, risks and technical issues, and provide updates to customers and management.
- Work with engineering teams to resolve issues affecting production yield and project timelines.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Technical Project Management or a related field.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, NPI or production line bring-up is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement methodologies. Experience with calibration or specialised testing is an advantage.
- Strong customer-facing and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive technical issues to resolution.
- International customer or engineering experience is an advantage.
- Experience supporting complex engineering or technology projects is an advantage.
- Willing to be based in China and travel frequently within Asia and other overseas locations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
