Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers’ requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the ABB Automation in Thailand. Main stakeholders are Energy Industry.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the customer in a proactive manner by anticipating the customer’s needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts.
• Ensuring that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts.
• Measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers.
• Identifying service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and for growing the service contracts with their assigned customers.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA architectures, and industrial communication protocols in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation market
• Ability to demonstrate your engineering skill at least 10 years of experience in control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA architectures, and industrial communication protocols
• Ability to translate technical constraints into operational impact for plant managers, maintenance leads, and commercial decision-makers. Crucial traits include active listening, conflict resolution, and establishing credibility as a long-term trusted advisor
• Skill in orchestrating cross-functional technical teams, field service personnel, and product specialists and Sales to building trust from customer.
• Using site performance data, asset health indicators, and customer KPIs to formulate proactive maintenance, obsolescence mitigation, and digital adoption roadmaps
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in Electrical/Power engineering of / Proven experience of at least 10 years
• You are at ease communicating in Thai and English.
