What you’ll do

  • Inbound Logistics: Own and lead the end-to-end inbound logistics process ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and timeliness. Drive Lean improvements, maintain SAP logistics lead times, and monitor daily performance metrics including productivity, velocity, safety, and problem resolution. Define and execute SLAs with stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Outbound Logistics: Support and oversee the outbound logistics process with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and timeliness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain outbound lead times in SAP, and report on daily operational performance. Manage SLAs and ensure adherence to HSE and Duty of Care policies.
  • Governance, Compliance & Reporting: Lead the creation and implementation of the EMEA trade governance framework. Ensure full compliance with customs and freight regulations, lead internal and external audits, and provide high-level data analysis and reporting to support business goals. Deliver compliance training and maintain standard work aligned with internal and external regulations.
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Tax, and external logistics partners to align logistics execution with business needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a geographically dispersed team across EMEA, providing guidance, development, and support to the direct reports.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bringMust-haves:

  • Significant experience in global logistics operations with a strong understanding of customs regulations and trade compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and work effectively across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and compliance procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create meaningful business reports and translate data into actionable insights.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in OEM, manufacturing, engineering, heavy industry, mining, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Background working with freight forwarding or logistics service providers.
  • Experience in complex international supply chain environments.
  • Proficiency with SAP logistics modules.
