Essential Job Functions:

  • Own the client relationship throughout the full lifecycle, from onboarding and ongoing stewardship through renewal
  • Proactively identify and resolve coverage, service, and relationship risk
  • Build trusted, executive-level relationships and lead conversations around coverage, risk strategy, and long-term planning
  • Align internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and support long-term retention
  • Analyze client risk profiles, claims data, and market insights to develop coverage strategies that optimize the total cost of risk
  • Incorporate insurance, alternative financing, and Risk/Workforce Solutions into tailored client strategies
  • Lead discovery meetings, RFP responses, and enterprise risk presentations
  • Translate complex insights into clear recommendations and board-level narratives that support executive decision-making
  • Lead and develop the service team to support Get, Keep, Grow client engagement
  • Collaborate with Producers, Account Managers, Brokers, Safety, Claims, and Risk/Workforce Solutions teams
  • Oversee core servicing, account submissions, carrier marketing, and policy reviews to support accurate and compliant client deliverables
  • Identify and advance cross-selling, account-rounding, and growth opportunities in partnership with Producers and internal teams
  • Participate in prospect discovery, business development, and growth-team meetings
  • Build carrier relationships and support continued value creation for clients and prospects
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging risks, regulatory changes, and market developments
  • Demonstrate strong executive and board-level presence in high-stakes environments
  • Participate in sales training, leadership development, and other learning opportunities while championing team best practices
  • Travel as needed to support clients, prospects, carrier relationships, and industry events, up to 45% for Account Executives

Credentials

  • A minimum of five years work experience in the self funded health insurance industry is required
  • Life, Health & Accident license required
  • Experience maintaining fiduciary responsibility for company, client, and/or producer preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions
  • A college degree or equivalent work experience is required; a degree in Finance, Business or a related field is preferred
