DuPont is seeking an Administrative Operations Specialist, Digital Enablement to support the Innovation Excellence organization at the DuPont™ Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware reporting to the Innovation Excellence Leader.

This role combines essential administrative support with digital enablement, business systems administration, data literacy, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day administrative activities while identifying and implementing practical ways to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and simplify processes for administrative professionals and R&D team through heavy utilization of digital production tools for proficiency.

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:

Administrative Operations

  • Manage complex calendars, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, leadership visits, and event logistics.
  • Create and maintain SAP purchase requisitions and purchase orders, support invoice resolution, and assist with budget and vendor administration.
  • Coordinate office supplies, facilities requests, onboarding and offboarding activities, distribution lists, team rosters, and other organizational logistics.
  • Prepare and format presentations, reports, communications, agendas, and meeting materials; track actions and support follow-through.
  • Provide responsive administrative support to Innovation Excellence and partner with R&D teams while exercising discretion and sound judgment.

Digital Enablement and Process Improvement

  • Identify repetitive, manual, and error-prone administrative activities that could be simplified, standardized, or automated.
  • Develop and maintain practical solutions using approved tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Excel.
  • Create AI-enabled workflows and agents that improve the speed, consistency, and quality of administrative services.
  • Document current and future-state processes, maintain standard work, and measure time savings, quality improvements, adoption, and user experience.
  • Partner with administrative professionals, R&D teams, IT, and functional experts to solve problems, test solutions, and scale approaches that deliver measurable value.

Portfolio Management System Administration

  • Serve as a business administrator for Innovation Launchpad, DuPont’s portfolio management platform.
  • Manage user access, permissions, onboarding, routine configuration, and administrative support in accordance with established governance.
  • Modify and maintain reports, dashboards, views, reference data, and user guidance to support portfolio reviews and decision-making.
  • Monitor data quality, troubleshoot routine user issues, coordinate enhancements, and help improve system adoption across the innovation organization.

Your qualifications profile:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support, executive support, office operations, business operations, or project coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, Power BI or comparable low-code and analytics tools with proven ability to use the tools to improve processes.
  • Strong capability in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with purchasing, purchase orders, invoices, expense processes, or enterprise systems such as SAP.
  • Strong organization, communication, customer service, judgment, and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about digital tools and a track record of improving or simplifying work processes.

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, information systems, data analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in administrative support, executive support, office operations, business operations, or project coordination.
  • Experience administering portfolio, project, innovation management, or other enterprise business systems, including user access and reporting.
  • Experience supporting R&D, engineering, technical, laboratory, manufacturing, or innovation organizations.
  • Familiarity with Lean and/or continuous improvement processes.
