Location: Granada Gardens, Granada Hills, CA
Pay Range: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Are you organized, dependable, and experienced in property management? RHF is seeking an Apartment Manager to oversee the daily operations of Granada Gardens, a 169-unit family apartment community in Granada Hills, CA.
This position oversees property operations, leasing, resident relations, staff coordination, and compliance while helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-managed community. The ideal candidate is organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.
The selected candidate must reside on-site at Granada Gardens as a condition of employment. A four-bedroom house is provided on-site as part of the compensation package.
What You'll Do
As our Apartment Manager, you will:
- Property Management: Oversee daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, facilities, staff coordination, vendors, inspections, and property maintenance.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable affordable housing requirements, RHF policies, and regulations. Maintain accurate records and complete required certifications, recertifications, reports, and documentation.
- Leasing & Occupancy: Manage leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting tours, processing applications, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and monitoring occupancy.
- Financial Management: Assist with property budgets, monitor expenses, review purchase orders and invoices, and support the financial operations of the property.
- Resident Relations: Provide excellent customer service, address resident concerns, support community activities, and maintain a welcoming and respectful environment.
- Team & Vendor Coordination: Provide direction to office and maintenance staff and coordinate with vendors to support efficient property operations and a well-maintained community.
- Inspections & Reporting: Conduct property and unit inspections and coordinate inspections, audits, and other reviews. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
- Other Duties: Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support property operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
- Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance.
- Experience managing property operations, budgets, and financial documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including employment and reference verification.
- Must be willing and able to reside on-site at Granada Gardens as a condition of employment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk while performing routine office and property management activities.
- Ability to conduct property tours and inspect units and common areas.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
