Applications Analyst, Information Technology, Boston, MA, 90k to 140k base, bonus

Responsibilities

• Implementation of new and improvement of existing business applications.

• Work with various Investment teams, Trading and other business units to design, develop and maintain solutions that will enhance performance, automate workflows and reduce errors.

• Support existing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Software development experience with strong analysis, design, and modeling skills. Financial services industry preferred.

• Proficiency in SQL programming along with database modeling and design, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficiency in using C# and/or Java for back-end development.

• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFVC).

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus:

ü Charles River Investment Management System

ü Markit EDM Platform

ü Data Warehouse Platforms

ü Front-end web frameworks like Angular/React

ü Large Language Models like GPT

• Job requires working beyond regular business hours on an as needed basis.
