We seek a faculty colleague to expand and innovate in the “Texts and Representations” area of our core curriculum ([external link] Candidates should be prepared to teach a core course in this area of the curriculum (Film Analysis, New Media Analysis, Rhetorical Analysis, or a course of their own devising). Candidates should be experienced pedagogues who are additionally prepared to teach introductory courses and seminars in their areas of specialization. The course load for this position is 2 – 2. Tulane University is a tier-one research university in the United States and the Department of Communication is committed to developing an interdisciplinary and transnational undergraduate education.

Applicants must hold a PhD in cinema and media studies or a related field.
