Associate Director, AEO Marketing Science

Reporting of the role

Global VP of Marketing Science

Overview of the job

Reporting into Global VP of Marketing Science, the Associate Director, AEO Measurement will help build the measurement foundation of Influencer’s Creator-First AEO capability while contributing to our broader Marketing Science work across clients and campaigns.

This role is responsible for turning complex AI-search data into credible, usable intelligence. You will analyze how brands appear across AI engines, identify the sources and signals associated with those results, establish competitive benchmarks, and build measurement frameworks that help us understand how visibility and brand representation change over time.

Working closely with Creative Strategy, you will distill large amounts of data into the insights that actually matter — giving strategists, creators and clients a clear understanding of what is happening, where the opportunity exists and what we can learn from activation.

Alongside AEO, you will support overall Marketing Science responsibilities across campaign measurement, client reporting, insights and effectiveness.

about the role

  • Help establish how one of creator marketing’s newest capabilities is measured and evaluated.
  • Work with emerging AI-search datasets and turn them into meaningful client and strategic intelligence.
  • Build measurement methodologies that connect creator activity with changes in AI discovery.
  • Work across AEO innovation while remaining connected to broader creator marketing measurement and effectiveness.

  • A clear and credible measurement methodology for Creator-First AEO.
  • Consistent AEO baselines and benchmarks established across client engagements.
  • Complex data translated into actionable insights that directly inform creator strategy.
  • High-quality, client-ready reporting that makes AEO performance understandable and credible.
  • Strong integration between Marketing Science, Creative Strategy and activation teams.
  • Increasing institutional knowledge around the signals associated with AI visibility and creator content.
  • High-quality delivery across both AEO and overall Marketing Science responsibilities.

  • Analyze prompts, responses, citations, sources, topics and brand representation.
  • Identify patterns in the sources, content types and third-party voices associated with AI responses.
  • Surface gaps and opportunities that can inform creator strategy and activation.

Competitive Intelligence

Build a clear picture of brand performance relative to competitors.

  • Benchmark clients against relevant competitors across AI visibility, citations, representation and share of voice.
  • Identify where competitors are outperforming and investigate the signals associated with that advantage.
  • Track changes in competitive position over time.
  • Translate competitive data into clear insights for Creative Strategy and clients.

Insight Development

Turn large and complex datasets into usable intelligence.

  • Distill AEO platform data into the findings that matter most to strategists, clients and creator briefs.
  • Separate meaningful patterns from noise and prioritize insights based on potential strategic value.

  • Establish pre-activation baselines across relevant indicators including AI visibility, citations, brand representation and share of voice.
  • Define appropriate KPIs and measurement windows based on the objectives of each engagement.
  • Analyze changes following creator activation and identify correlations, patterns and emerging learnings.
  • Clearly distinguish correlation from causation and ensure conclusions accurately reflect what the data can support.
  • Develop benchmarks and longitudinal datasets as Influencer’s AEO work scales.
  • Use learnings to identify which creator, content and strategic approaches appear most strongly associated with positive movement.

Reporting & Client Partnership

  • Analyze creator and campaign performance to identify actionable insights and optimization opportunities.
  • Contribute to measurement frameworks spanning attention, engagement, brand and business outcomes.
  • Support brand studies, platform measurement, attribution and other Marketing Science initiatives where appropriate.
  • Build clear, client-ready reporting and help teams turn campaign data into recommendations for future activity.
