Work hours\: PRN/per diem, Day shift, 6\:45 am – 7\:15 pm
Position highlights\:
The Burn Procedure RN is a specialized nursing role responsible for coordinating and facilitating burn wound care procedures for patients admitted to the STPCU Burn Unit. This position serves as the primary clinician for the hydrotherapy (tank room) program and plays a critical role in ensuring safe, timely, and effective burn dressing changes across the unit.
Department highlights\:
· Justin 5 is a 26‑bed Surgical Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Burn Unit. 18 beds are for Surgical Trauma or Burn PCU patients and 8 beds are for Med-Tele Burn Patients. This unit provides higher‑acuity surgical trauma and burn care, including treatment in a dedicated hydrotherapy procedure room for the burn population. Although patient populations differ, this is one integrated unit, and staff are expected to work across both care areas.
