Job Description – Sales Support Coordinator

Division / Department: Channel Sales Reports to (position): Sales Operations Manager Level / Grade: Individual Contributor Location: Candidate must live in the US Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Work Conditions: Office Environment/Remote Travel: Up to 10% Telecommute: Yes Minimum Educational Required: HS Diploma / GED. 2 year associate degree in a related field is preferred. Years of Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar or related position

Position Summary

The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for coordinating efforts within and supporting all sales activity within the channel sales department to ensure that sales personnel have necessary data, marketing collateral and sales support for success. The Sales Support Coordinator will follow routine processes and handle detailed information to support sales personnel and customers.

Essential Functions/

Job Responsibilities

Perform miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties (proposals, contracts, data entry, reporting, system management, providing product information and training, qualifying leads and scheduling appointments, etc.) to assist with the daily operation of the channel sales team.

Provide customer service to the sales team and their customers on existing products and services.

Assist with list development and lead nurturing as well as the implementation of marketing plans for partners to ensure all is in compliance with our overall strategy.

Support the logistics (booth preparation, scheduling, shipping materials and collateral, etc.) and coordination of event planning and conferences that The CE Shop participates in.

Assist in the development and coordination of collateral materials, optimizing campaigns, and supporting sales procedures and sales on-boarding of new business.

Skills Required:

Experience and independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines and organize diversified workloads.

Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other material.

Handle routine and non-routine information and explain policies or processes when necessary.

Organize and prioritize data and information into creative and logical sequence.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum

Requirements

Data entry experience.

Extremely detail oriented and well-organized.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

Project management experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge and familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the sales field.

Technical Skills Required:

Above average proficiency with MS Office Suite of products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SalesForce

Google platform (GoogleDocs, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Hangout)

Familiar with Adobe solutions suites

Skills necessary to operate standard office equipment

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not supervise the work of others.

Internal and External Interaction: This position interacts with peers both in and out of department and their immediate manager on a regular basis. They may interact with customers and vendors directly in escalation or support situations in a large geographical area. They may interact with Managers in other departments.
