The Construction Manager, Wireless Services is responsible for leading the successful execution of wireless construction activities across multiple projects and markets. This role oversees construction vendors, field operations, schedules, budgets, quality, and safety performance to ensure wireless infrastructure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage all phases of wireless construction activities, including mobilization, construction, equipment installation, commissioning support, and project closeout.
  • Oversee construction execution for macro, small cell, DAS, fixed wireless access, roof tops and 5G deployment projects across assigned markets.
  • Develop and manage construction schedules, resource plans, and project forecasts to ensure timely delivery of customer commitments.
  • Direct and manage general contractors, subcontractors, construction crews, and in-house field personnel.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and site audits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved engineering designs, construction standards, building codes, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor project costs, change orders, material usage, and budget performance to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate construction risks, delays, and site issues while driving timely resolution and recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with Site Acquisition, Engineering, A&E, Utilities, Permitting, Project Management and Operations teams to support seamless project execution.
  • Review and approve construction deliverables, including progress reports, closeout documentation, punch lists, and acceptance packages.
  • Lead contractor performance management, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety programs, OSHA requirements, customer safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Support customer meetings, deployment reviews, and escalations related to construction performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on construction efficiency, quality, and cycle-time reduction.
