Job Summary

The Construction Team Member supports ongoing physical improvements and renovation projects across the hotel and restaurant properties. The 9 properties are located between Long Beach, WA and Manzanita, OR so the ability to travel is a must. This role is designed for a reliable individual with foundational construction or hands-on trade experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work. This role will work under the Construction Manager and execute duties as assigned.

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Execute mid-level construction and repair tasks across the properties, including basic carpentry, drywall patch/repair, interior and exterior painting, and fixture installations.
  • Assist with property improvement and renovation projects, ensuring work meets quality standards, safety guidelines, and timeline expectations.
  • Perform light plumbing and electrical maintenance, such as replacing fixtures, lightbulbs, hardware, or putting together furniture.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in finishing work, precise measurements, neat painting/sealing, and thorough job-site clean-up.
  • Safely operate, maintain, and store hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Construction Manager and team and consider guest impact and disruption while working on property.
  • Other construction, maintenance, or projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must be 18+
  • Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to travel (transportation and accommodations provided as needed)
  • Previous experience in light construction, general contracting, maintenance, or handyman work preferred.
  • High attention to detail with an eye for quality craftsmanship and clean finishing work.
  • Familiarity with basic hand/power tools and standard construction safety practices.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (50+ lbs), stand/bend/climb ladders for extended periods, and work in varied indoor/outdoor environments.
