Job description

Our subsidiary company Returnless from the Netherlands is looking for a Content Marketing Manager (w/m/d).

We’re looking for a creative content marketer to put Returnless on the map in Germany. We’ve built a strong reputation in the Benelux region. It’s up to you to establish our solution in Germany as well. Your content will determine how German online stores get to know Returnless.

You’ll create content that genuinely helps German e-commerce stores, and you’ll ensure that content reaches its audience. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns: you’ll translate and localize campaigns for the German market and ensure they’re picked up and shared within the JTL network. In addition, you’ll have the freedom to identify opportunities in Germany on your own and develop content around them. And that goes beyond just text: visuals, videos, and photos are also part of your job.

You’re a native German speaker and fluent in English, both spoken and written. Do you also speak Dutch? That’s not a must, but it would be very gezellig ;)

Do you live near our office in Eindhoven? Great! Do you live a bit further away? Then working remotely is an option, though we’d love to see your face at the office every now and then.

  • You’ll create and visually design content for the German market: websites, blogs, PR articles, social media posts, presentations, and emails. You name it!
  • You’ll contribute ideas for upcoming campaigns and translate and localize them to make them as appealing as possible to German readers
  • You’ll create content that not only inspires German online stores but also connects them with us, such as white papers, webinars, and landing pages
  • You’ll ensure our German content is easily findable in (AI) search engines: you’ll conduct keyword research, optimize the website and blogs, and track rankings
  • You’ll identify content opportunities in Germany, such as trends, regulations, and customer stories, and develop them
  • You’ll create German customer case studies in collaboration with our customers and the Customer Success team
  • You’ll create content related to German events, such as JTL Connect: before, during, and after the event
  • You’ll ensure our content is picked up and shared within JTL and the broader German e-commerce ecosystem
  • You’ll measure the performance of your content, including organic traffic, reach, engagement, and leads, and make data-driven adjustments
  • You’ll be part of the marketing team and work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to better understand the market and our product
  • you work independently and take ownership of your own content and results
  • you think in terms of performance: you want to know what works and why
  • you proactively identifie opportunities and get to work on them right away
  • you work in a structured and campaign-based way, with an eye for planning and deadlines
  • you are punctual and have a smooth, creative writing style
  • you have a basic understanding of SEO & GEO, or are eager to learn more about them
  • you have graphic and visual insight: you know how to design content in a way that makes your message clearer and puts our brand on the map more effectively - experience with Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) is a plus
  • you have the drive to continually improve your work
  • you enjoy working with modern tools
  • good work-life balance
  • flexible work hours
  • work from home or abroad
  • €1.000 annual training budget
  • monthly team activities, partys and get-togethers at the office
  • time to take care of your family
  • Returnless Guru: get 15 days off for a min-sabbatical or a XXL vacation in your fourth year
  • MacBook
