Job description
As a Controllership Manager here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statements. You will play a key role in driving financial governance and supporting business decisions through insightful financial analysis and control frameworks.
You will report directly to our Finance Director and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywell's financial health and compliance by ensuring robust controllership practices, enhancing financial transparency, and supporting strategic business initiatives across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal control processes to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits, financial reporting, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in financial controllership, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead audit processes and implement effective control frameworks.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in controllership or financial management roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working in a corporate finance environment, preferably within a large multinational corporation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
