POSITION SUMMARY
Provide leadership and operational excellence for the executive team that will
position them for growth and efficiency. Continue fostering a culture of continuous improvement by
various methods and metrics, driving positive cultural and departmental shifts. Evaluate and oversee
the strategic plan in collaboration with the CEO to advance the company’s mission and objectives and
to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. Oversee all the above-mentioned
company operations to preserve the company mission, vision, values (F.R.E.D), quality, service, and
cost-effective management of resources for all Revive Life House Facilities and Recovery Homes.
GENERAL
RESPONSIBILITIES
Compliance:
1. Responsible for all aspects of compliance for AODE, BHSO, ASAM, NARR, and CARF in the
above-named locations.
2. Interface with directors, URs and auditing for improvement to ensure the
development, implementation and monitoring of program quality assurance standards that are in
compliance with regulatory requirements. This will include participation in utilization reviews and
incident reviews to identify outcome measures and monitor program performance accordingly.
3. Approve company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
Programming:
1. Provide oversight and supervision for all non-clinical program operations.
2. Produce and implement strategic plans for current and new programs.
3. Assess the residential, vocational, and rehabilitative needs of clients and evaluate program
functioning relative to those needs. Modify program functioning as necessary tomeet assessed needs.
4. Ensure program development that will address special issues and population needs to facilitate client
transitions to the most independent level of residential options.
5. Identify service gaps and develop proposals to build programs and service initiatives to address these
areas. Present proposals to the CEO for approval and submit to various funding sources.
Staffing:
1. Recruit, hire and retain management personnel at the Executive Director level in collaboration with
C-Suite team and participate in the interview and hiring process for all directors, supervisors, and
management with input on all other lower-level staff hires.
2. Assess the training needs of operational programs and staff team and coordinate appropriate training
with the HR department to meet those needs through internal as well as external resources.
3. Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports to assess compliance with
established company policies, achievement of organizational objectives, and contributions toward goals outlined in the Vision/Traction Organizer (VTO).
Management:
1. Develop an organizational structure of reporting between directors and management to ensure
adequate supervision at each level to support compliance expectations with regulatory standards.
2. Monitor and supervise programmatic budget compliance and revenue/census management issues
ensuring maximum revenue potential and efficient utilization.
3. Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenue through
collaboration with the C-Suite team Director of Development and Compliance Director on the
submission of grants to fund services consistent with programming needs.
4. Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress in conjunction with C-Suite
and participate in annual budgetary planning meetings.
5. Co-facilitate weekly meetings with C-suite leadership and report feedback from administrative
services to ensure optimal program operation.
6. Own the strategic plan evolution to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote
revenue, profitability, and growth.
7. Oversee all operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of
resources.
8. Other duties as assigned.
Public Relations:
1. Ensure a consistently high census by coordinating outreach efforts with psychiatric facilities and other
referral sources.
2. Function as a liaison through Kentucky State Office of Mental Health, local Departments of Health,
and other regulatory agencies with respect to ongoing operations and rehabilitative services.
3. Represent Revive Ministries Inc. at all inter-agency and public level events as well as legislative
sessions, committee meetings and other formal functions.
4. Attend, coordinate, and provide executive management linkage to area community advisory boards
associated with division programs with respect to its various activities.
5. Delegate responsibility for attending provider agency meetings and community organization meetings
as appropriate.
BACKGROUND/ EDUCATION:
1. Master’s degree in a behavioral science or MBA with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience at the
Vice President or Director level in a health care facility or health related field with an emphasis on
recovery.
2. Prefer a valid professional license (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT).
3. At least (5) years of full-time employment experience working directly with adults in a human service
setting after completing the educational requirements.
4. Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must have knowledge of medical privacy and confidentiality (Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act [HIPAA]); computer applications/software to include Microsoft Office programs/MS
Outlook (e-mail), and internet familiarity.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all staff, government, press and a wide range of
constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several
projects.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Must have excellent organizational and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, in a fast-paced, dynamic but stressful
environment.
3. Proficiency in all areas of medical billing; all AODE, BHSO, CARF and any other applicable
governing/auditing requirements as they apply to Revive Life House.
4. Experience in strategic planning and execution.
5. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, management skills in re-engineering operations and
procedures.
6. Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
7. Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
8. Knowledge of public relations principles, practices, and techniques and can develop and deliver
effective professional presentations.
9. Ability to identify and secure new funding/revenue sources.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach overhead and lift up to 10 pounds; travel outside of the office
and/or attend meetings both during and after normal work hours, both at and away from the work site.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry,
push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. May involve walking or standing for
brief periods of time. Requires about 6 hours of sitting and no more than 2 hours of standing or walking
in an 8-hour workday. No significant stooping is required.
Environmental Conditions:
The employee will work indoors in a residential setting with central heating and air conditioning. The
house is open and well ventilated. The person may work outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid
conditions during times of community activities for clients. The employee will travel independently to
various events within the community, which may be held indoors or outdoors.
Mental Demands:
There are several daily deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant levels ofstress
for some individuals. The position must deal with the clients, staff, and insurance representatives daily
on a variety of issues.
WORK EXPECTATIONS:
1. Minimum of 40 hours per week; may be required to work additional evenings and weekends.
2. Must be able to work well with other staff and clients.
3. Occasional travel is required.
