THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent quality engineering experience
- 3+ years of quality assurance or quality engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar Quality Management Systems
- Engineering drawing and technical print reading experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Occasional travel availability
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred candidates will have experience with customer audits, customer-facing quality activities, composites or industrial manufacturing environments, advanced Excel and data analysis skills, and experience with SPC, Minitab, and control charts.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A CUSTOMER QUALITY ENGINEER
This is a full-time position based in St. George, UT, with occasional travel as needed.
As our Customer Quality Engineer, you'll serve as the key connection between our customers and internal teams, leading investigations when quality concerns arise and driving solutions that improve products and processes. You'll review customer requirements and technical drawings, conduct root cause analyses, lead 8D corrective action efforts, support audits and inspections, maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and analyze quality trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
