About our Team
Data Insight is a team that consists of two unique groups. The Data Questions Group and the Data Evaluation Team. The Data Questions Group is responsible for answering nearly 2K questions monthly from across of all of RISK. We provide solutions to a variety of data questions and data linking concerns. The Data Evaluation team reviews and analyzes test data from vendors to ensure the data is unique, relevant, and provides lift to our organization’s products. Combined, members of Data Insight have over 300 years of experience in the data analytics field with a range of skills with technology and LexisNexis products.
About the Role
The individual in this role will research and answer from a pool of approximately 2,000 data and linking questions per month from Consumer Center, Compliance, Product, Sales, Customer Support, and Technology across RELX, LNRS, and L&P with 70% of those questions originating from Consumer/Compliance Disputes related to Linking/LexID. Researching and answering these questions promptly, thoroughly, and accurately then communicating those findings clearly is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology teams to improve data quality, resolve data integrity issues, and enable informed business decisions.
- Research and resolve complex data and data linking questions, issues, and disputes.
- Execute data research, changes, and initiatives related to new or changing regulatory compliance laws affecting data collection, disclosure, and consumer rights.
- Build visualizations enabling impactful business insights.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in data or business analysis with an analytical competency demonstrated.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science preferred but not required) or equivalent experience required.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate research, analysis, reporting, documentation, and workflow efficiency (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI and data visualization and reporting.
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, or data management concepts.
- Familiarity or experience with SQL or database query languages is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially translating complex technical and proprietary topics into easy to understand/high level responses back to non-technical individuals.
- Excellent teammate, multi-tasker, and ability to consistently execute recurring operational processes with accuracy.
