Designer/Technician III - EI&C

Location: All Locations, TX, CO, OK, and FL, TX, 76107

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Designer/Technician III specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) to join our team. This mid-level role involves supporting the design and technical aspects of EI&C projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience using design software such as AutoCAD or Revit to develop detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Electrical design activities including site and building power & controls, grounding, lighting & receptacle plans, interconnect wiring & riser diagrams, and schematics.
  • Assist in Instrumentation and Controls design, including developing P&IDs and Network diagrams.
  • Conduct field inspection/surveys or project sites to confirm existing conditions, take measurements, obtain record information from utilities and obtain other relevant data.
  • Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and Revit to create, modify, and maintain detailed EI&C drawings and models.
  • Collaborate and communicate with CAD designers, engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and project success.
  • Review and update design documentation to reflect changes and revisions.
  • Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during project execution.
  • Maintain organized records of design files and project documentation.
  • Qualifications
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit design software.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls design principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Experience working in multi-location projects is a plus.

Work Locations

  • This position supports projects in multiple locations including Texas (TX), Colorado (CO), Oklahoma (OK), and Florida (FL).

Salary Range

$35.00 - $51.00/hour
