Development Business Operations Coordinator

The Development Business Operations Coordinator for the Corps of Cadets Development Team plays a vital role in advancing the Texas A&M Foundation's philanthropic mission by supporting the operational, administrative, and donor engagement activities of the fundraising team dedicated to the Corps of Cadets. This position partners closely with development officers, Foundation colleagues, Corps of Cadets leadership, university partners, donors, and volunteers to ensure exceptional service, operational efficiency, and meaningful donor stewardship.

This position is based on site in College Station, providing opportunities for close collaboration with campus partners while supporting donor engagement efforts across Texas and beyond. The Development Business Operations Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination for departmental operations, donor communications, stewardship initiatives, financial processes, and strategic projects that help strengthen philanthropic support for the Corps of Cadets and its mission of developing principled leaders for Texas, the nation, and the world.

What you'll do...

As the Development Business Operations Coordinator supporting the Corps of Cadets Development Team, you will serve as a trusted operational partner helping advance fundraising efforts and donor engagement. In this role, you will:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Corps of Cadets Development Team.

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for development officers and team members.

  • Prepare presentations, donor materials, reports, correspondence, and meeting agendas.

  • Maintain accurate donor and fundraising records within Salesforce and other Foundation systems.

  • Support financial reporting, documentation, and record management activities.

  • Coordinate donor stewardship efforts, campus visits, events, and special projects.

  • Respond to donor, volunteer, and campus partner inquiries while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Collaborate with Foundation colleagues, Corps leadership, and university partners on fundraising initiatives and operational projects.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance departmental efficiency.

What we require...

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in administration, operations, project management, donor services, fundraising support, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

  • Commitment to the mission, values, and goals of the Texas A&M Foundation.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive donor and financial information.

We'd love to find someone with...

  • 4+ years of experience supporting fundraising, advancement, donor relations, alumni engagement, or nonprofit operations.

  • Experience within higher education, nonprofit organizations, or philanthropic environments.

  • Knowledge of donor stewardship and fundraising best practices.

  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, and executive-level projects.

  • Experience working with confidential donor information and complex documentation.

  • Familiarity with fundraising operations and donor engagement strategies.

  • Affinity for Texas A&M University and an appreciation for the traditions, leadership development, and impact of the Corps of Cadets.
