This role involves working closely with the Marketing Director to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver strategic recommendations that drive member growth, engagement, and marketing effectiveness. The position requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with campaign reporting, website analytics, SEO/AEO/GEO, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

responsibilities

Marketing Performance & Analytics
  • Develop and execute an ongoing marketing analytics strategy that supports Skyla's goals across the consumer journey, including awareness, consideration, conversion, and ongoing engagement.
  • Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on marketing performance across digital and traditional channels, connecting campaign activity to business goals, member behavior, and marketing ROI.
  • Identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement within marketing performance data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Create, monitor, and manage marketing dashboards and reporting tools, partnering with Marketing stakeholders to ensure reporting meets the team's evolving needs.
  • Partner with the Marketing Coordinator on campaign reporting processes and performance measurement.
  • Collaborate with the Content Manager to measure paid digital advertising performance, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Skyla’s consumer and member data, using available data sources to identify insights, opportunities, measurement gaps, and recommended solutions.

Digital Experience & Optimization
  • Support and help advance ongoing Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts to improve Skyla's visibility across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search experiences.
  • Analyze website traffic, user behavior, engagement, conversion paths, and user journeys to identify opportunities to improve the digital experience.
  • Conduct website usability reviews and make recommendations related to user experience, personalization, conversion optimization, and overall digital performance.
  • Monitor and recommend improvements related to website accessibility (ADA), site health, technical SEO, and other factors that impact the overall digital experience.
  • Remain current on digital marketing trends, search behavior, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and recommend adjustments to Skyla's approach as opportunities emerge.

Consumer & Market Insights
  • Conduct and / or oversee market research studies to better understand consumer behavior, preferences, needs, and motivations, translating findings into actionable marketing recommendations.
  • Analyze consumer and member behavior to identify opportunities for audience segmentation, campaign targeting, product engagement, and improved member journeys.
  • Partner with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to develop a deeper understanding of key audiences and the factors that influence their interactions with Skyla.

Marketing Partnership & Organizational Support
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for Marketing and business partners regarding campaign performance, digital analytics, marketing initiatives, and results.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and consult with department leaders and business partners to help translate organizational goals into meaningful marketing insights and measurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team members to ensure data and insights inform campaign strategy, creative decisions, channel selection, and ongoing optimization.
  • Comply with all Federal regulations, Credit Union policies and procedures, including Bank Secrecy and the USA Patriot Act.
  • Perform job duties in accordance with the Credit Union's values, mission and vision.

minimum

requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, analytics, or a related field; commensurate work experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance measurement, marketing operations, or digital marketing; agency or in-house marketing team experience strongly preferred.
  • Collaborative, self-directed professional who takes ownership of projects, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, measure, identify patterns, and interpret results across marketing functions, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of marketing measurement, campaign performance, digital marketing metrics, and marketing ROI.
  • Advanced experience in data segmentation and reporting within a CRM / Marketing Automation system (HubSpot highly preferred), with fluency across digital marketing and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMrush, accessiBe, etc.)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data visualization and dashboard development; proficient in Mac and Microsoft Office Suite.
