Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Transformation Architect (DTA) based in the United States.

As a Digital Transformation Architect, you will serve as a strategic technical advisor helping enterprise customers navigate complex digital transformation initiatives.

You will work closely with sales teams, customer stakeholders, and technical experts to identify challenges and design scalable, high-impact solutions.

The role combines deep technical expertise with a consultative, customer-facing approach across discovery, solution design, and pre-sales engagements.

You will architect solutions around PLM and enterprise technologies while connecting technical capabilities to measurable business and operational outcomes.

You will also shape transformation roadmaps, lead customer workshops, and translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration across sales, engineering, and delivery teams, along with the ability to build trusted executive and technical relationships.

The position is fully remote with regular travel for customer meetings and onsite engagements.

Accountabilities

  • Partner with sales teams and enterprise customers to identify digital transformation opportunities and business challenges.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, operational pain points, technical requirements, and strategic objectives.
  • Architect scalable enterprise solutions leveraging PTC Windchill and related technologies.
  • Develop solution roadmaps and transformation strategies aligned with customer business goals and technical environments.
  • Act as a technical advisor during customer meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and solution discussions.
  • Translate complex technical architectures and concepts into clear, compelling, business-focused value propositions.
  • Provide technical expertise and architectural recommendations throughout pre-sales engagements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to support successful implementation and solution outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive audiences.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, digital transformation, PLM consulting, sales engineering, or enterprise technology consulting.
    • Hands-on expertise with PTC Windchill, including architecture, configuration, and integrations.
    • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or enterprise software environments.
    • Strong understanding of PLM, ERP, MES, CAD, and Digital Thread ecosystems.
    • Demonstrated ability to connect technology solutions with business performance, operational efficiency, and measurable outcomes.
    • Experience developing enterprise solution roadmaps and transformation strategies.
    • Strong consultative, discovery-driven problem-solving approach.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.
    • Experience in customer-facing pre-sales or technical advisory roles is preferred.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, engineering, delivery, and other cross-functional teams.
    • Strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence customer decision-making.
