POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides comprehensive operational leadership for judicial education conferences, trainings, and related events. Responsibilities include coordinating facility logistics; overseeing room configuration and environmental readiness; and managing all audio/visual systems, graphics production, and video development. The role further supports ongoing facility operations and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of the Judicial Education Center (JEC).
The Education Operations Specialist performs the full spectrum of technical and operational tasks essential to judicial education programming. This includes configuring, operating, and monitoring a diverse array of instructional support technologies; guiding end users in equipment use; and executing complex audio and video engineering assignments. It oversees Media Center operations and manages the inventory of the Judicial Education Center, maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and recommending strategic upgrades or acquisitions.
Additionally, the role monitors the maintenance and repair of major appliances, peripheral devices, and copiers within the JEC, working closely with property management to coordinate building repairs and ongoing facility needs. The position includes collaboration with Education Services, the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), and faculty, often requiring travel. It also provides graphic design assistance for the Supreme Court and all divisions of the AOC and serves as the Court’s liaison with vendors to procure certificate stock, court seals, and other specialized materials.

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in audiovisual technology support and/or multimedia production; equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education. Demonstrated mastery in configuring, programming, operating, and maintaining enterprise-grade A/V systems and related technologies. Advanced knowledge of A/V hardware and software installation, configuration, and systems integration across diverse platforms. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to swiftly assess complex technical problems, and thorough technical knowledge of video capture technologies, editing workflows, streaming delivery methods, and multimedia production systems. This position also requires the ability to provide clear, patient, and adaptive guidance to users with varied technical proficiency, establish and maintain productive working relationships with diverse customer groups, and to edit, produce, and package video content for a wide range of formats and distribution.
The preferred candidate will have advanced problem-solving abilities, including serving as a subject-matter resource on issues involving A/V technologies, support services, and equipment functionality.
Travel level: Up to 10%. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
