At Intuitive, we are revolutionizing surgery through groundbreaking technology and a relentless focus on advancing minimally invasive care. Since our inception in 1995, we have been at the forefront of robotic-assisted surgery, driven by the belief that minimally invasive care is life-enhancing care. Our flagship da Vinci Surgical System, first launched in 2000, has transformed the landscape of surgery, enabling surgeons to perform complex procedures with enhanced precision, control, and vision. This innovation has expanded the possibilities for minimally invasive interventions across a wide range of specialties, including urology, gynecology, thoracic, cardiac, colorectal, pediatric, and general surgery. Our commitment to innovation extends beyond the da Vinci system. We continuously strive to develop and integrate intelligent technologies that empower physicians and their teams. The Ion endoluminal system, for example, represents another leap forward, designed for minimally invasive biopsy in the lung. We are dedicated to a future where surgery is more effective, less invasive, and easier on surgeons, patients, and their families. Through a combination of ingenuity, advanced systems, progressive learning, and value-enhancing services, we aim to help physicians and healthcare systems optimize care delivery and achieve the best possible outcomes for patients worldwide. Our ongoing research and development, supported by thousands of patents, fuel our mission to continually refine and expand the capabilities of robotic-assisted surgery, making a profound impact on the lives of people around the globe.
