End User Support Specialist (Contract Role)

THIS IS AN ON-SITE CONTRACT ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR CHELMSFORD, MA CORPORATE OFFICES

We are looking for our next End User Support Specialist as we accelerate our growth journey.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support new‑hire onboarding by imaging, configuring, and deploying PCs and peripherals using Microsoft Intune.
  • Provide timely troubleshooting and resolution of end‑user issues related to hardware, software, system access, security, business applications, and printers using the BMC Remedyforce ticketing system.
  • Assist with the receiving, inventory management, deployment, tracking, and retirement of end‑user computing assets.
  • Coordinate and execute PC refresh and replacement activities for end users.
  • Perform basic Microsoft 365 administrative tasks to support end users.
  • Manage and monitor ticket queues to ensure timely resolution, SLA adherence, and a high standard of customer service.
  • Assist with local audio‑visual (AV) support as needed.
  • Support IT infrastructure teams to support network, security, and systems operations.
  • Support Manufacturing floor with print troubleshooting, network connectivity, small improvement projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT end‑user support or help desk experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Active Directory user account management.
    • Microsoft Intune device management.
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Windows operating systems.
    • Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Experience working within an IT service management or help desk ticketing system.
  • Familiarity with ticket queue management and SLA‑driven support environments.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset with clear verbal and written communication skills preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across departments preferred.
  • Comfortable supporting users with varying levels of technical expertise preferred.
