Engineering Manager, Destinations

About the Role

Lead a team responsible for building and maintaining a broad portfolio of destination integrations for a marketing and data activation platform. This role combines hands-on engineering with people leadership, and helps customers move data reliably and efficiently across a wide range of services.

What You'll Do

• Set priorities across new destination integrations, customer requests, and improvements to existing integrations.
• Lead by example through hands-on development and high standards for technical execution.
• Improve sync performance using approaches such as parallelism, batching, rate-limit detection, and algorithmic optimizations.
• Work directly with customers and integration partners to scope use cases and gather requirements.
• Mentor engineers, hire and manage team members, and help the team focus on high-value work.
• Identify ways to use AI developer tools to improve engineering speed and quality.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 6 or more years of software engineering experience, including 1 to 4 years in a team lead or early engineering management role.
• Experience managing and hiring software engineers, with a hands-on approach to technical leadership.
• Strong computer science, mathematics, or related fundamentals, supported by relevant degree-level education.
• Experience building platform infrastructure such as API integrations, data pipelines, or sync systems.
• Experience working with customers and integration partners, plus a background in performance optimization.
• Clear communication, sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and a commitment to mentoring engineers.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $200,000 to $320,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
