Job description

Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support 2 Directors. This role requires the ability to complete complex tasks and projects with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnaround, and maintain a high level of professionalism when handling confidential information.

The Executive Assistant will be a critical partner to the leadership team, enabling them to focus on the highest-priority work. You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will need to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a strong bias for action.

Key job responsibilities

Calendar Management: Proactively manage multiple complex calendars with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time to promote productivity; recognize the need to re-prioritize as appropriate

Travel Coordination: Coordinate domestic and international travel in compliance with existing policies and procedures, ensuring effective use of time and resources

Expense Management: Create and submit expense reports accurately and in a timely manner

Event Planning: Plan and organize team events of all sizes, including staff meetings, all-hands meetings, offsites, and employee engagement activities

Deliverable Tracking: Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items

Liaison: Act as a liaison for direct reports and serve as a point of contact between leadership and internal/external stakeholders

Process Improvement: Proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale for the leadership team

Team Culture: Help build a positive team environment and establish effective working relationships inside and outside of the group

Communications: Draft and manage correspondence, meeting agendas, and other communications on behalf of leadership

Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism
