Job description

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Help ensure the accuracy of worldwide consolidated inventory costs and inventory-related expenses.
  • Perform costing analyses and identify key drivers of variances.
  • Monitor robotic process automation (RPA) used for SAP margin-posting programs and verify the accuracy of margin billed and margin relief journal entries.
  • Perform monthly analyses and reconciliations across margin reports to validate automated margin calculations.
  • Based on reconciliation results, coordinate required changes to the deferred margin program with Business Technology Solutions (BTS), including testing reports and interfaces.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on processes and financial reporting to support complete, accurate, and timely results; understand monthly results and communicate issues to supported businesses.
  • Work closely with affiliates and colleagues to resolve product- and SKU-level margin issues and help ensure that all product components are properly set up.
  • Prepare month-end margin journal entries, including sweeping purchase price variance (PPV) and standard revaluation (SRV) amounts to the Intercompany Margin "Delta Profit" pool.
  • Resolve margin and costing inquiries from affiliates in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the team to investigate and resolve variances identified in the monthly book-to-perpetual analysis by product for Intercompany Margin "Delta Profit."
  • Support the annual planning process.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and support projects and process improvements as needed.

Basic:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Proficient Excel Skills required, experience with SAP preferred
  • Cost Accounting experience in manufacturing highly desirable along with experience in supply chain finance operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of progressive and related experience.
