Position
Summary
The FMF Base Manager exists to support Sterile Insect Technique operations at the Sarasota, Florida base through management of customer expectations, pilot and aircraft logistics and collaborating with maintenance personnel for maintenance needs.
Key
Responsibilities
Creates and sustains customer relationships
Ensures all customer requested flights are scheduled and an aircraft and flight crew are assigned
Ensures compliance with all appropriate FAA and Dynamic Aviation regulations, policies and procedures
Manages Flight Operations administrative functions including the accuracy of flight logs, sitreps, maintenance paperwork, and billing data reviews
Provides daily leadership and supervision to permanent and temporary staff assigned to the Sarasota, Florida location
Responsible for completing performance reviews, and addressing employee performance or issues
Assists in the development of Flight Operations manuals and policies
Assists with coordination between Flight Operations and Maintenance Operations
Develops, implements, and manages the FMF Base performance standards
Responsible for approving departmental travel
Monitors, reviews, and approves employee time corrections within 24 hours of correction
Manages company equipment as assigned
Works with the Operations Portfolio Manager (OPM) to ensure the financial success of the base via budgeting and cost control techniques

Qualifications
Leadership and relationship building experience
High level of integrity, honesty, and humility
Experience in managing aircraft fleet
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work in and foster a team-based environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Certificate with Instrument Rating

Flight hour

minimum 1200 total time with 100 hours in King Air 90
Knowledge of King Air systems
FAA A&P License
Inspection Authorization
Business management skills

Requirements
Ability to travel as required up to 20%
Physical ability to lift, balance, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Stand for an extended period of time on a concrete floor
Work in harsh environmental conditions (extreme heat and cold)
U.S. Passport or work authorization requirements to work in the U.S.
Working Conditions:
Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, evenings and weekends as required by operations. Schedule may change based on business requirements and operational needs
May be required to work in hot, humid conditions for extended periods, particularly during outdoor inspections, maintenance activities, or aircraft support
Pay Band: $65,000.- $110,000. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
