Full Stack Developer (TS/SCI)
Job description
Full Stack Developer – Suitland, MD (Hybrid: onsite 2–3 days/week) | Full-time, Permanent | $150,000–$170,000 base
Position Overview
Develop secure, cloud-native applications from database schema through backend services and production user interfaces. Team of 2–3 developers reporting to a technical lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain secure applications across the full technology stack
- Support existing platforms while building pilot solutions and custom MVPs
- Handle API development, dashboards, legacy data migration, and authentication integration
- Deploy solutions across AWS partitions and classification levels
Core Technology Stack
Python/Django, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL/Aurora, AWS, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Keycloak
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance (mandatory)
- 5+ years hands-on development experience
- Python backend expertise – Django, FastAPI (including async) and modern Python 3.13+
- Production-level React or Next.js experience
- RESTful API design and Backend-for-Frontend patterns
- PostgreSQL schema design and optimization
- AWS deployment across classified partitions
- Terraform module development
- Authentication integration (Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, CAC/PIV)
- GitLab CI/CD and Git workflows
- Development for STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated environments
Additional Requirements
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Must work onsite 2–3 days weekly in Suitland, MD
- Immediate start preferred
