*This is a fully in-office position located in Elmhurst

Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR department in a variety of administrative tasks. The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting employee relations, onboarding, record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures.

Key

Responsibilities

Coordinate the employee onboarding and offboarding process.

Prepare new-hire paperwork, employment documentation, and onboarding materials.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.

Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, time off, and procedures.

Coordinate interviews, meetings, orientations, and other HR-related activities.

Support performance review and employee development processes.

Help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation.

Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications.

Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Other duties assigned.

Primary

Qualifications

High School diploma.

Associate degree in Human Resources, or related field is preferred.

2 years of administrative experience or in a HR support role.

Individual Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to identify and maintain confidential information with discretion.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software (HRIS systems).

Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.

Proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
