Information Systems Environment and Quality Release Manager
Job description
The Environment and Quality Release Manager is responsible for governing enterprise application environments, release management processes, quality standards, deployment readiness, and production stability across enterprise business and clinical platforms, including Epic, ERP, Staffing Scheduling and Timekeeping, ServiceNow, and future enterprise business and clinical systems. This role ensures system changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business operations, clinical workflows, and end users.
The position provides enterprise oversight and governance across Application Teams, Infrastructure, Security, Integration, Testing, Business Stakeholders, and Vendor Partners to ensure stable environments and successful releases. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
Schedule:
- Full time | 80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud
- Day shift | 8am-4:30pm
Pay andBenefits
- Starting pay begins at $96,283.20 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Salary range: $96,283.20 - $144,414.40 per year
Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 7+ years of experience in Information Systems, Application Services, Release Management, Environment Management, Quality Assurance, System Implementation, or IT Operations
- 3+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide release coordination, environment governance, change governance, or production readiness activities
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across application, infrastructure, security, testing, integration, and business stakeholder groups
- Experience supporting complex enterprise systems in a regulated environment, preferred
- Healthcare IT experience supporting clinical and business applications.
- Experience supporting Epic, ERP Cloud, STAFF SCHEDULING AND TIMEKEEPING, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise platforms
- Experience with ITIL-based Change, Release, and Environment Management practices
- Experience leading enterprise software upgrades, platform releases, and production deployments
- Preferred Certifications/Licensure:
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Epic Certification or proficiency in assigned applications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
- DevOps Foundation, Release Management, or Change Management certification
- Demonstrated knowledge of release management, environment management, production readiness, and system deployment practices.
- Working knowledge of IT service management (ITSM), change governance, incident management, and operational support processes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing practices, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA.
- Strong risk assessment, mitigation planning, and operational decision-making skills.
- Ability to evaluate release readiness, deployment risks, and production support requirements.
