The Inhouse Marketing Bounce Back Agent engages resort guests who are checking out or who previously declined an on-site sales presentation invitation and introduces eligible guests to Bounce Back and Mini Vacation Package opportunities. This position builds rapport, identifies vacation interests, clearly explains package features and participation requirements, addresses questions and objections, and converts guest interest into future vacation commitments. The Vacation Package Specialist delivers a positive guest experience while completing sales accurately and adhering to all company marketing, ethical, and compliance standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASK:
- Engage guests and build rapport: Proactively approach eligible resort guests during checkout or after they decline an on-site sales presentation invitation. Create a welcoming experience while learning about their vacation interests.
- Present vacation opportunities: Clearly and accurately explain Bounceback and Mini Vacation Package options, including features, benefits, pricing, eligibility, and participation requirements.
- Drive sales: Use consultative sales techniques to understand guest needs, answer questions, overcome objections, recommend appropriate vacation opportunities, and confidently ask for the sale.
- Complete transactions accurately: Process package transactions, documentation, and system entries accurately and promptly while following company policies, approved marketing guidelines, privacy practices, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with the resort team: Work closely with resort operations, Front Desk, and Marketing teams to maximize guest engagement opportunities. Maintain knowledge of current offers and track sales activity and performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, hospitality, customer service, or another guest-facing environment preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport and build trust with guests.
- Confidence presenting vacation offers and tailoring conversations to guest interests.
- Ability to ask for the sale and professionally address objections.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation and computer systems.
- Ability to manage multiple guest interactions and work toward production goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn sales and guest-management systems.
- Ability to maintain knowledge of current package offers, eligibility requirements, company policies, and compliance standards.
