IT PROJECT MANAGER (INFOSEC)
Job description
Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information.
Identifies, plans and coordinates various IT systems/software projects
Plans and coordinates the selection, acquisition and implementation of technologies, information systems and software.
Provides systems expertise relative to life cycle management of IT development, feasibility analysis, system requirements collection and definition to testing, documentation and implementation phases.
Prepares evaluations, proposals and management briefings and presents recommendations to the DFAS Chief Information Officer (CIO), IT management and other DFAS organizations for approval as required.
Defines operating criteria and monitors installation and testing to determine the quality and efficiency of technology, systems and software.
