Clinical Neuropsychologist

Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants (CBC) is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our growing team and provide comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and young adults.
At CBC, you will work alongside a dedicated team of clinicians who value the intersection of neuropsychological assessment and behavioral health and believe that understanding the whole person leads to better clinical outcomes.
You will also have the opportunity to work closely with CBC founders Dr. Alec Miller and Dr. Lata McGinn, internationally recognized psychologists and leaders in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in neuropsychology into an organization with deep expertise in evidence-based behavioral health.
About the Role
The Neuropsychologist will:
- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations
- Evaluate cognitive, academic, developmental, attentional, executive functioning, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Integrate interviews, records, observations, collateral information, and standardized measures
- Develop thoughtful diagnostic formulations and individualized recommendations
- Write comprehensive evaluation reports and provide feedback to families
- Collaborate with schools, physicians, therapists, and other professionals
- Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development
- Depending on experience and interest, provide supervision, training, consultation, and contribute to program development
Clinical expectations: Approximately 48 comprehensive assessment batteries annually, along with 1–2 executive functioning evaluations per week.
About You
We are looking for a psychologist who:
- Holds a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Combined Clinical-School Psychology
- Has specialized training and experience in neuropsychological and/or psychoeducational assessment
- Holds a New York State psychologist license in good standing
- Has strong assessment, diagnostic, report-writing, and clinical communication skills
- Enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families
- Values collaboration, professional growth, and evidence-based care
Experience with Autism/ADOS, IEPs, and 504 plans is a plus.
