Under general supervision, the Machine Operator will perform production activities, which require a working knowledge of various chemical processes, operations and machines. Sets-up and operates multiple machines and equipment for production operations, and may assist lower level workers with these processes. The Machine Operator will

• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
• Oversee and monitor to ensure quality and performs verifications and inspections of product.
• Assist in the training of new employees and aids employees with questions regarding work standards.
• Document all department functions daily, by keeping accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance to equipment.
