- Report to senior product leadership and provide visibility into engineering progress, capacity, risks, and delivery priorities.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Bring at least 5 years of engineering management experience leading software development teams.
- Have 10+ years of software development experience, including substantial experience managing the SDLC.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering software projects on time and within budget.
- Possess a strong technical background in web application development, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
- Have familiarity with modern technology stacks such as Rust or Go services, TypeScript front ends, Kubernetes, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, product, operations, and support teams.

- Thrive in a dynamic environment that requires managing multiple priorities and concurrent workstreams.
- Demonstrate a decisive, proactive, and positive leadership approach with a strong focus on team success.
- Possess project management skills and the ability to organize engineering work around clear delivery objectives.
- Experience in tolling, intelligent transportation systems, payments, or other mission-critical transaction environments is considered an advantage.
