- Develop team members through training, feedback, and observation of client meetings.
- Lead selected client consultations and coach attorneys on helping prospective clients make informed decisions about engaging the firm.
- Identify workflow improvements and help implement consistent processes across offices.
- Partner with leadership on staffing, legal risk, service quality, and growth.
- Travel monthly among the firm’s four offices.
- Provide occasional support for urgent matters outside regular hours, including during time away when necessary.
What You’ll Bring
- A Juris Doctor degree and an active Ohio or West Virginia law license.
- Admission in both states, or the ability to obtain the second admission within six months, subject to verification of eligibility and processing timelines.

- Strong client consultation skills and the ability to discuss services and fees clearly.
- Sound judgment, strong organization, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Willingness to travel among offices each month.
Experience in a multi-office estate planning or elder law firm is especially valuable. Practice leaders, supervising attorneys, and firm owners with relevant team management experience are encouraged to apply.

- 401(k) with an employer match of up to 4% when contributing 5%, subject to plan terms.
- 15 days of PTO, prorated in the first year, plus 40 hours of paid volunteer time.
- Free estate planning for employees and discounts for family members.

Our customers face the dual challenge of finding the right talent and telling their unique story in a crowded marketplace, which is why we have evolved into a comprehensive solution for both. Trueline began its journey in 2007 as a publishing company, dedicated to creating award-winning trade publications that highlighted the achievements of industry leaders. As we deepened our relationships with these executives, we recognized a critical need: they didn't just need a platform for their stories; they needed a partner to help them build the teams that made those stories possible. Today, we are a fully remote recruiting, marketing, and publishing firm with roots in Portland, Maine, serving clients across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. We believe that the most successful companies are those that can find the 'through line' between their culture and their hires. Our proprietary recruiting process goes beyond simple placement; we leverage our background in storytelling to create evergreen custom content that showcases our clients as top-choice employers. This unique blend of services allows us to not only source off-the-market candidates from our extensive network but also to strengthen our clients' employer brands for the long term. At the heart of our operations is our 'shaka' culture—inspired by our founder's Hawaiian upbringing—which symbolizes aloha, joy, and a commitment to intentional lightheartedness. Whether we are crafting a new brand identity, managing a complex recruitment campaign, or publishing an industry journal, our team is driven by a shared passion for helping businesses grow and thrive.
